--------------------------------------------------------- Readme - MagnaMural Updater Info by Apollia Pirandello http://MagnaMural.Astroblahhh.Com/ ---------------------------- To update your obsolete commercial-version MagnaMural, drag the entire contents of the "MagnaMural Updater" folder (which was created in your inventory when you opened and took the contents of the MagnaMural Updater sphere) into the inventory of your MagnaMural. Then, click the MagnaMural's root prim, and when a blue pop-up dialog appears, grant permissions to link and unlink from other objects. The updater will announce when it is done. After that, take your MagnaMural, then re-rez it, and delete the copy in your inventory. Then, right-click on the re-rezzed MagnaMural and select Edit from the pie menu. Go to the Tools menu and select "Set Scripts to Running in Selection". Then, your MagnaMural should be updated, and it would be a good idea to take a copy of it into inventory. Unfortunately, it's impossible for a script to change a prim's perms, so the obsolete commercial version of the MagnaMural will still be No Transfer after you run the update. Some kind of texture exporter script would be necessary to transfer textures into new, full-perms prims. Perhaps I'll get around to writing one eventually, or maybe someone else will write one. In any case, it would probably be a good idea to code some safeguards to make sure no inventory loss occurs (in light of how unreliable Second Life can be). The MagnaMural Updater doesn't attempt to relocate any textures, so it should be safe.
